Starting December 4th, stop by the gallery at Mish Mish art supplies in Blacksburg to see my show called Signs of Dysfunction.

Twelve large framed prints depict the subtext of signage through photos of incomplete, vandalized, weathered and painted-over signs.

Only by zeroing in on signs without ostensible meanings can we really see their underlying messages, information our subconscious minds have always gathered beneath our notice.

Large framed digital archival prints, $85. Signed hardcover copies of the 80-page book, Signs of Dysfunction, $49.

Everything Art Gallery in Fincastle, Virginia has a big selection of artwork by Southwest Virginia painters and photographers. A few of my framed photos are available there, as well as prints matted to 12x16, all at great prices.

Plan to visit next time you're north and east of Roanoke on a weekend. Fincastle is not far from Buchanan, Daleville or Troutville.
